The XB-700 Li electric bike is an upgraded model of an electric bicycle X-Treme XB 600 with new body design and especially with a 700 watt rear hub motor (Canada models get a 500 Watt Motor). And that's extra 100 Watts of power. The new model has a unique lithium system that includes 32 Lightweight Lithium Li-Mn04 Ion batteries with a battery life of up to 10 years compared to 1-3 years for SLA batteries used in XB 600 and other similar models of electric bicycles! 2 packs of 16 batteries are all located in the plastic battery box in the lower part of the scooter under the foot rest area. The total AMP’s across the entire pack is 19AMP’s and each of the 2 packs consists of just under 10 AMP’s each pack. The voltage of each cell is 3.2V. The new charger we are providing has a 5 AMP output and is charging bikes in just 3 to 4 hours time or less. In addition, this electric bicycle will get you further than the XB 600 due to the use of Light-Weight Lithium Technology and the 1 horsepower electric motor will get you up to 20 mph. With new upgraded cell system also the range has been increased from 35 to 40 Miles per charge.

The X-Treme XB 700 Li electric bicycle comes with rain and water resistance, front and rear turn signals, dual sport headlight system, tail and break lights, rear and side facing reflectors, electric horn, dual rear view mirrors, windshield, speedometer and battery indicator, keyed ignition, optional bicycle pedals, adjustable & comfortable padded moped style seat, large storage underneath seat, storage underneath key, rear cargo box with a key lock (doesn't need to be installed), smart battery charger (automatically turns off after battery is fully charged), kick stand and a tool kit.

In most states, you do not need a drivers license to operate this electric bicycle, because electric bicycles have a pedal system. In addition, this electric bicycle does not have to be registered with DOT (DMV), and if you follow the bicycle laws you should be able to ride this bike any places bicycles are allowed to operate. (Per Federal Electric Bicycle Law H.R 727). Despite of this information, we still recommend to check the local laws and contact your local DOT (DMV) before purchase.
